PWNA bios- daryl mirza
Daryl Mirza graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 1983 majoring in marketing. After years of managing Burger King restaurants, he felt compelled to work in the restaurant industry in a different capacity. Daryl and his wife Christie attended power washing classes and with a lot of hard work and time they were contracted by many of the major restaurant chains to clean their kitchen exhaust hoods. Fast forward 25 years and Daryl has become involved not only in the hood cleaning industry (Facilitec), but also in roof top grease protection (Grease Guard) and the fire prevention industry (National Fire). Daryl has increased his business throughout the years through a number of acquisitions, including small local companies along with major players in the industry. He has held posts and affiliations with the PWNA from President to the Board of Directors. He has many patents on products and continues to develop and implement new designs to change the way kitchen hood cleaning is done today. Daryl’s priorities in business continue to be about safety and ultimately customer satisfaction. Daryl continues to use the knowledge he has gained over the years and is excited to bring about new ideas and innovative products to change the way restaurants keep their locations fire safe.
